As the world slowly reopens from the pandemic shutdown, I am reminded of the reason why I started my own travel agency, U Better Live Travel. Due to my immense love for adventure, I wanted to help others with their wanderlust. I believe travel allows you to connect to different cultural experiences across the world. It also allows you to interact with aspects of nature and try a variety of different cuisines. We have missed the ability to travel during the shutdown. I still can recall all of the amazing memories, sites, and scenery of the many places I have traveled to.
As a travel professional, I’ve personally had the opportunity to visit several exotic destinations across 4 of the 7 continents of the World.
The first continent I visited was Africa. In Kenya, I went on an amazing Safari in Tsavo and Nakuru. I even survived the climb of Mount Longonot mountain. In addition, I got to spend time in the wonderful Paradise Island of Zanzibar in Tanzania and the Exotic Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius.
Next on my list was Asia. I visited Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya Island on a travel circuit that was filled with a rich history of temples, ruins, and some of the beautiful islands in Southeast Asia. Dubai, is a beautiful place and country full of luxury and Arabian flair. It was there I explored the Burj Khalifa, one of the world’s tallest buildings. My company and I even went to the desert to go dune bashing and had a lovely BBQ in the desert.
Last on my list was Europe. I was fortunate enough to have the chance to go to the Magical DisneyLand in Paris, climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and do the travel circuit by train to Amsterdam which was an amazing sight to see.
To really capture the art of travel you must allow yourself to emerge in the culture and appreciate the different newness in knowledge and power each journey provides you. What are you waiting for? The airports are open, and your next destination is calling. You Better Live!
